THINGS YOU’D ASK US ANYWAY.
-
Calder Park Raceway, about half an hour north-west of the Melbourne CBD. Parking is on site and there is room for a coach if you are bringing one.
-
Up to 35 guests in a day. There is no formal minimum, but the day is priced as a whole booking rather than per head, so smaller groups pay the same as larger ones. Most groups land between 15 and 30.
-
Four to six weeks is comfortable. We have turned days around faster than that, and we would rather you asked than assumed it was too late.
-
We run. Wet circuit is arguably better for this - more slide, more smoke, no less control. We only move a day for weather that makes the circuit genuinely unsafe, and if we do, you get a new date rather than an invoice.
-
12. Under 18s need a parent or guardian to sign the waiver. If the sanctioning body sets a different figure, use theirs.
-
Yes, and that is not a throwaway answer. Every car has a full roll cage, racing harnesses and
a fire extinguisher. Helmets are supplied. Every guest gets a briefing before they go out, and the whole operation runs under motorsport sanctioning with full insurance. It is built to feel far more dangerous than it is.
-
Yes. The day runs under motorsport sanctioning and insurance is included in the day rate, not an extra. You will sign a waiver on arrival, same as any circuit activity.
-
Yes, one per guest, signed on arrival before anything moves. If you’re under 18 your waiver needs to be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
-
They say so and the run ends. Every driver is briefed to pull up the moment a passenger asks, and nobody is talked back into the car. It happens occasionally and nobody minds.
-
None. You are not driving. The only requirement is that you can get in and out of a car with a roll cage in it.

ON THE DAY
-
Long sleeves, long pants and closed-toe shoes. That is a sanctioning requirement, not a suggestion, so anyone in shorts and thongs will be watching. Bring sunglasses and a jacket depending on the season.
-
Yes. Rolls, wraps and drinks trackside at lunch, plus coffee on arrival. Tell us about dietary requirements when you book and they get handled.
-
No, and that is deliberate. Our drivers do the driving, which is what lets us go as hard as we do. If you want a ride-and-drive format instead, ask - it is a different day and we can talk about it.
-
Please do. Phones, cameras, drones by arrangement. If you want something better than shaky phone footage, we can put a photographer or videographer on the day for you.
CUSTOMISATION
-
Yes. Vehicles, banners, displays trackside, your signage in every photo. Send us what you have and we will work out how to get it in frame.
-
Yes. Car shows, product launches, larger events - with or without passengers. Describe what you are picturing and we will tell you whether it works.
-
Every day is different depending on group size, timing and add-ons. We would rather price yours properly than put a fake number on a website. Send through your group size and rough timing and you will get a real figure, not a range.
